Small groups of participants worked together to think about how the individual and group projects on loss could be amplified and transformed with an eye to the Imagine Repair exhibition. This workshop allowed us to think about curation, and about how our work with memory, justice, and repair could be shaped to reach a larger public. How can the transformative power of art mobilize our memories in the interest of justice and repair?
Unfolding over the course of several days, with sessions held in-person at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine and on Zoom for those who could not attend, the workshop solicited the passionate ideas and interests of over twenty-two community participants and local artists.
